Unlike pillager outposts, in villages, the rule that turns cobblestone blocks into mossy ones doesn't work with cobblestone stairs, slabs and walls.

      If you find a village, the rule that turns a cobblestone into mossy cobblestone works ONLY with normal blocks, not with slabs, walls or stairs. It works in pillager outposts.
