I was in a village, standing on a path block. I accidentally broke a grass block that had snow layers on it, so I replaced it with snow layers until it was about the same height as before. There was a full block made of snow layers, and then two more layers on top of that. I walked onto the snow layers, and then I could not leave them. I tried to walk off, but I would jitter back onto the block as if being teleported, and sometimes bounce like there were barrier blocks. The layers were surrounded by path blocks all around. In order to leave the block, I had to jump.
