I unfortunately, died in my hardcore world by fall damage, and as I clicked spectator mode, I was teleported to my normal bed/spawn but everything wasn't loaded, no mobs, no animals, not my placed blocks or the world. I don't think the chunks loaded.

Create Hardcore World - Die - Spectator Mode/Spectate

I'm not very sure, i tried other multiple worlds where I too, died in hardcore, but was still able to spectate.
