Not sure how I got to this point, but the bees in the hive depicted in the screenshots (with plenty of flowers nearby) refuse to exit their hive. Or, more precisely, they keep popping out for a fraction of a second, only to pop back in immediately - obviously making the hive useless.

The bees were "raised" in a set of hives a few chunks away, and later "transplanted" to the hive in question simply by luring them there with a flower. There were maybe 8-10 bees lured, and I bred 3 more in place, then left them to their own devices. Presumably three entered the hive to deliver honey (the honey_level is at 3 now), but now they're stuck.

When the bees first entered and when I first noticed the issue, the hive was flanked and topped by terracotta blocks, which I removed later thinking it might free the bees, but to no avail. The front has been free all the time, even in front of the redstone components.

To the best of my knowledge, the hive isn't powered by the redstone components at the moment.

When the bees pop out they appear right in front of the hive (haven't seen them popping out to the side or top so far), facing the hive, and only remain for what I guess might be a single frame before popping back in.

Obviously, the hive is useless in this state.

I can provide a backup of the world in question (for my own reference: 2019-11-10_16-04-28_Cliffs 42), but it's too big (367 MiB) to just drop in here. Please advise what other information you might need, and how to submit the world if so desired.
