Banners are rendered completely white when looking at them through transparent blocks

      The bug

      When looking at banners through transparent blocks (such as water or stained glass panes), they are rendered completely white.

      Below I have a few images. I got on the edge of the water and angled my camera so as to see that the banners do in fact have patterns, but are being rendered as white.
