What I expected to happen was...:
Play minecraft with sound

What actually happened was...:
All of my sound stopped. I checked to make sure that I still had my sounds turned on, and I did. Switching from survival to creative and back, but that did not fix the sounds. Nothing I did brought sounds back on except for quitting and restarting my Minecraft client.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a game in the 13w21a snapshot
2. Play until sound stops
