When breaking a block, the breaking animation is either missing or wrong

What I expected to happen was...:
The normal break animation to play when I broke a block

What actually happened was...:
Depending on the angle I was looking at the block, the break animation either didn't show or showed glitched/incorrectly

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a block
2. Punch it with your hand or tool
3. Watch the break animation freak out
