I don't even know what version of Minecraft I am on because the game would not install properly whatsoever. I installed the launcher, ran it, and nothing. Tried it in Program Files (x86) and a separate folder, nothing worked. It would show a desktop icon, but wouldn't run. I ran the installer to uninstall the launcher. IT DELETED MY STEAM.EXE FILE. No other file was deleted but that one as far as I can tell. but because of the way Steam works, I now have to reinstall EVERY SINGLE GAME I HAD DOWNLOADED. I have absolutely no clue why Minecraft decided to delete any folder besides the ones it had direct permission to access, but this is ridiculous! Not only can I not play Java Edition at all because it won't work, now I get to sit here for hours while my games reinstall! (Update: I no longer have to reinstall my games, I was able to recover them without any further issues. However, the fact that the Minecraft launcher deleted Steam.exe from my system is still an issue.)
