How to reproduce:

be in creative mode

Find or build a wall

pick a sword or a trident

Walk left, right, away and towards the wall always looking at it, all of this while holding left click (or keep pressing it really fast) with the weapon like you would do when breaking a block in survival mode

you can see that in all directions there is a constant jitter in your movement
