Step 1: Make a hardcore world

Step 2: Jump off a cliff on the world high enough to commit not alive

Step 3: As soon as you die click the Delete World button

Step 4: Click "single player" then "Create new world" 

Step 5: You should be able to see the death screen of that world

Problems
1: If you leave the game it doesn't turn off, you have to use task manager

2: I broke my desk because I died to a creeper on my hardcore world that I had for 4 weeks
