If you place a flower on a block then brake it repeatedly it will start breaking the block (when you are not touching it) and if you do that for long enough then stop it will leave the block in a half-broken state with the lines signifying the breaking of a block will still be there even though you are not touching it. Then when you next update the block by punching it, it will fix itself.
