Java Edition on a MacBook Air with Mac OS Mojave Version 10.14.6.
The computer gets a little bit hot every time I play, but overall, my experience is good.

I am using a MacBook Air 2018 with the newest system update, and Minecraft game works well on this computer except the issue of breeding turtles.
I really want to get the turtle helmet in a survival world, but I have already found three groups of turtles and tried three times, none of them breed successfully.
After feeding them seagrasses, they always lay eggs, but the eggs never break. I have watched two or three videos about how to breed turtles, and I think that I have done it correctly, but the eggs just don't break, and not even start to break: the hatch status showed when pressing F3 stays 0.
I will try to breed turtle again in creative mode later this day and try to update this report then.
By the way, I can't find my Minecraft screenshots at the supposed directory on my mac. It seems like this directory is not even created on my mac: /Library/Application Support/minecraft/screenshots
