So, as mentioned abode, bees are behaving strangely towards End Rods.
The AI will fly into the End Rod, as though expecting to phase through it. I experienced this glick largely at night/when raining while bees were trying to enter the Nest. Occasionally they'd reproduce this during the day, but this is especially noticeable at night/while raining. I have an assortment of screenshots to share below (with debug screen open).
For reproduction:
- Put bees in a chamber (about 10x3x10), preferably across a chunk boundary.
- Place End Rods along walls.
- Place nest along a wall, with entrance facing outwards.
- Try to have 10 bees in the chamber.
