The bug

Bees follow players holding flowers. That does not happen for tall flowers, such as sunflowers and rose bushes.

You can breed bees with tall flowers, however.

To reproduce

Summon a few bees
Hold a poppy
→ The bees follow you
Hold a rose bush
→ The bees no longer follow you
