What I expected to happen was...:
For the redstone signal to go down the glass, however the redstone only worked as expected if being powered from a glass block diagonally below. 

What actually happened was...:
The only redstone that was powered was the redstone connected to lever.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put glass in a diagonal formation
2. place redstone on the glass
3. power redstone
