When updating my skin, it returned to default and will not change.

I recently updated my skin without resetting it, and instead of turning to my new skin, it's been reset to default. I've tried re-uploading, resetting and uploading the skin again, and I've waited for an hour to see if it would update, but nothing has worked. I am logged in and connected on the launcher.
