So I've quite recently started playing minecraft again after not doing so for a couple of years, but I'm having such an issue with the game. Sometimes, with no reason whatsoever, the game becomes extremely laggy for maybe a minute, and then returns back to normal frame rate. It normally runs at around 95 FPS (I've got it locked at 110), but during these spikes it drops down to just 1 FPS. I've tried playing on version 1.6.5 on an old World I had but didn't experience the same issue then, so I guess it's something with the newer versions. I'm playing on a Lenovo Yoga laptop running the latest version of Windows 10. It has a AMD Ryzen 5 2700U CPU with integrated Raedeon Vega 10 Graphics and 16gb of RAM. I've already increased the RAM for Java from 1gb to 4gb and I honestly don't think the specifications are the issue here since the game runs at 90+ FPS 80% of the time. I've attached two screenshots that show the issue and further information. I hope someone can help figure this out.
