Whenever I try to play on a minecraft server (public or private) or a Minecraft Realm I crash after anywhere between 10 seconds and 10 minutes with the error message 'Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly removed by the remote host'.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Java and Minecraft multiple times each

I have changed my windows firewall settings

Any help would be greatly appreciated, can't play with my friends in this state.
