Tried loading a 1.13 resourcepack on a 1.14.4 client and vice versa, special characters are set incorrectly

      Tried loading a 1.13 resourcepack on a 1.14.4 client and vice versa, special characters/symbols (skulls,hearts,swords,crosses etc) are set incorrectly

      Looks like in 1.14.4 with 1.13 font textures

      What 1.14 textures/pack on 1.13 client looks like

       

       

      What 1.13 textures/pack on 1.13 client looks like, I wanna make it so any client version above 1.9 that joinswill be able to see my MOTD like in the image below
