When the player is underwater equipped with depth strider on their boots (or generally moving at a quicker speed), and is mining obsidian in front of them moving forward continuously, they will break the obsidian but will eventually be clipped into a newly generated obsidian, ultimately trapping them under obsidian and likely dying.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Load into the attached world:
Depth Strider.zip - Mine walk forward, and mine the obsidian in front of you (continuing to hold forward)
Observed Behavior:
The player mines the obsidian successfully, but as they walk forward they sink low enough into the water to clip into the block space where obsidian/cobblestone is generated.
Expected Behavior:
The player would not be able to clip into the block, and would not be trapped under the obsidian. A possible solution would be to move the player on top of the generated block, instead of being ultimately being placed above it.

Notes:
- Possibly related to
MC-130754, another issue where the player is repositioned above a block that is 'placed' (block changes) - The primary reason for this constituting a bug and not just an expected result caused by the player, is that it is very common to mine like this for obsidian. Often, there is concern for the player losing the obsidian in the lava below, so they will walk forward to 'catch' the item. Having the player be trapped against their will is unexpected, and can lead to deaths which many players may not expect.
