When looking at the items inside a Trapped Chest while it's being filled/drained by a Hopper or a Dropper, for example, the items will not visually update in real-time to show the correct amount, like a normal chest does. However, if you close and re-open it manually, it will update the amount of items. I searched for this bug and didn't find it here.
