When adjusting sound, minecraft crashes and an error report is generated.

      When I try to adjust the sound(pigs oinking, placing blocks), I was surprised to see that the sound is at 0. I try to adjust it, minecraft crashes and an error report file is generated(attached)(and also it's not minecraft crashing then showing an error report with the minecraft logo on it, it just crash).
