I started a new single-player world in 1.14.4 and about three hours into the game, I went to eat some cooked salmon and the animation and sound would play, but my hunger didn't replenish. I tried again with bread and apples, but the same thing happened. I re-logged two or three times with no change. I closed the game and re-launched. Nothing. I tried dying to a mob to see if that would help. Once I tried to eat again, the animation wouldn't even play.
