I switched my gamemode from adventure to creative to get my stuff back quickly (fly there).  Right before I got there I switched back and got my stuff, I then tried to place a torch but it did not place anywhere. Same with anything else I had on me. Pickaxe, axe and shovel and all the other stuff just swing once when clicked and won't break stuff. When I hold down left click with them it also only swings once and then stops. I can kill stuff with my item but can't break things like grass, crops etc.

I have since tried swtiching back and forth between every gammode, switching cheats on in LAN and quit and come back after restarts but it is not fixed anything. Have found only one person with the same problem after a quick search, but not with a working answer
