      Hello,

I am a single player survival player and I am playing this game for years. I have a map which was created around 4 years ago and as Minecraft releases new patch, the world optimizes itself which is pretty awesome. However, this has created some serious problems on my map.

1- The End Portal in my overworld cannot be found

As I keep following the eye and dig where is shows, the stronghold is nowhere to be found. I have tried this 2 finds and found 2 different locations that the eye directs me but both of them are empty. When the world optimizes itself, it changes the locations of the stronghold but the eye shows the same locations (MAYBE). I also cannot get the Eye Spy achievement. (not a big deal)

      2- Manually optimizing the world?

I would die to have a better optimizing algorithm (a manual one) since it only changes only the untouched chunks. It makes sense cos it doesn't want to destroy our buildings. Totally makes sense but near my homes still has all those boring old oceans and I hate it. I am wondering if there is any software where I can manually select (maybe circle) places that I don't want to be changed so it can optimize other places? Or are you planning to make any?

Apart from that, I would have some suggestions as a dedicated Minecraft player, if it is not your concern as a bug department, please kindly ignore the rest of this mail.

1- Enlighting the indoors and outdoors.

      • We only have two different sources for this which are torch and lantern, we also have blocks. I think these are not sufficient, we all want to create mob-free environments without making it look ugly by spamming everywhere with torches and blocks. Therefore, there should be more enlighting solutions, maybe adjacent lighting sources emit more light to its surroundings. I believe that would be an awesome solution and would look natural, wouldn't kill the soul of the Minecraft.

2- Beacons are pretty useless and boring.

      • Getting a beacon is not an easy task and at the end of the day it is not rewarding at all. it gives some buffs to its very near. This is very bad and even the most annoying thing in Minecraft, it needs a reworking. Maybe each active beacon captures the soul of an item which player chooses, so it respawns there when the player dies. This would be the best usage of a beacon in my opinion. It is so rewarding, legitimate and most importantly, satisfying. (or maybe it teleports the player to another beacon) (first one is better) but not.. not those useless buffs, pls.

3- It has been years since the game has been released but it is still pretty limited in terms of content.

      • After Microsoft bought this game there have been many amazing updates which are truly appreciated. However, this is Minecraft, there should be more, more small bosses (not only witter), more player made NPC (snow golems and iron golem). In a single player game, we sometimes feel lonely, So these types of NPC's are highly appreciated, most importantly better AI, but I guess everyone is aware of it and currently working on it. The new village system is simply awesome and currently developing so  I will not state my a thousand of questions about it but I love it. It would be difficult to make them more dynamic I guess. For example, farmer actually works, fisher fishes if there is water near his workbench, butcher actually kills animals and breed them and all these villagers should be more interactive with the world but I see this as the future of the Minecarft and I cannt wait for it.

4- Ocean is done, now its time to recreate the sky

      • I know you like Terrarria, just another good game which took Minecraft as reference for its content, the sky there is pretty appealing, floating islands, a boss there... New NPCs. There should be things like that in Minecraft too, the sky is pretty available for it. Floating islands is a must. I would die to see the Minecraft version of it.

I have tons of more suggestions like this. Minecraft is my favorite game. I hope you have time to read things above. Thank you, have a wonderful day.
