I found 2 bugs related to this,
1: Skeletons are super fast, they chase the player at high speeds
I tried this on other mobs too. For zombies, spiders, creepers, and slimes it doesn't work. it's skeletons only
2: Creepers don't cause damage.
I guess because the slabs are waterlogged
