      I was playing realms, and I just just discovered that you can stack signs on top of one another without directly placing. You can hold shift, look down into the same block as the player, and stack signs above you by repeatedly placing them 'on top of' the one in your same block

      I tried to do this once more, and it would not place a 4th sign above me. I went above to manually place it (holding shift and placing the signon top of the 3rd sign), and at the instant I placed the sign, the game crashed. This happened twice in a very short span of time, doing the same thing: placing a sign on top of a stack of signs, manually, after having placed several (I think 3 both times) using the shortcut method.

      Both times the the game crashed, the message 'saving world' appeared briefly, and the game window closed very fast. When I reopened the launcher, I recieved the same bug report message both times:

      The game crashed whilst rendering screen
      Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot get property bwj{name=facing, clazz=class fa, values=[north, south, west, east]} as it does not exist in Block{minecraft:air}

      The full bug report from the second time is attached.

      just in case something is wrong with the file, here it is reproduced:
