the amount of mouse movement while in the inventory travels instantly when you close the inventory

      I noticed this while in a chest and replicated it in the inventory

       

      Moving the mouse and then pressing e will cause a big jump so that you turn the same amount as if you weren't in the inventory. It looks like your view is getting teleported.

       I believe it is caused because the game is storing the movement of the mouse while it's in motion (note that the screen does not jump if the mouse is still, no matter how far it has moved) and it is automatically putting that motion in when you leave the inventory
