      What I expected to happen was...:
      At night or in a dark cave, hostile mobs would start spawning like normal.

      What actually happened was...:
      I did not see a single mob in sight after upgrading to 1.14.3

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Wait for night
      2. No hostile mobs spawn.
