Put the summary of the bug you're having here

What I expected to happen was...:
I threw the ender pearl into the end gate (I think that's what it's called, the ones that take you to the end city. I stood too close my first time so the ender pearl did not go through the gate. Then, I moved away so that my head was roughly one block lower and diagonal to the portal, and threw another. That one went through the portal and I was teleported to the new area of the end (I forget what it's called). This all seemed to be functioning as normal.

      What actually happened was...:
However, after I was teleported, there was another ender pearl in front of me somehow. I had a full stack of ender pearls when I started. I missed one, then threw one through the portal, and still had 14 in my hand. This new ender pearl seemed to have come from no where, as I had not thrown a third pearl. Because of the angle that I spawned at, it hit the side of the end island and I fell into the void. I don't think there was any way for me to prevent it. Also, because of this, I don't have the clearest picture of my surroundings when I teleported.

It seems like the first ender pearl was the one to hit the island, but that doesn't make sense to me because I threw it away from the spawn island and in order to hit the new island it would have had to teleport with me.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Throw an ender pearl into the end gate while standing too close for it to go through.

      2. Move to a new position, standing with your feet diagonal to the portal block in the end.

      3. Lower yourself by two blocks
      4. Throw an ender pearl into the gate. You should be looking upwards and diagonally

      5. Wait for the portal to activate. Note that I was in survival, if that matters.
