The environment was held on a Minecraft Java Edition 1.14.2 server running the official Minecraft server software on Windows 10. I was also using a version of Optifine 1.14.2 that was still in development and had Sildurs Vibrant Shaders v1.21 High installed. In survival mode, I jumped from a birch plank to a nighttime activated daylight sensor that's a height that would normally kill you. That's all I know. Also, I was using Windows 10 when playing.   Next, I did another test round without any Optifine and just pure Minecraft 1.14.2 on a singleplayer world. The same event then occurred.
