If a user dies on a server or world with hardcore mode enabled and they choose to spectate the world, the world appears invisible and players/entities appear frozen. This only effects the person spectating, not the players that are still playing on the world.

If the user changes their gamemode to survival, the world will reappear and entities will not appear frozen. But if they change their gamemode back to spectator, the same issues occur.
