Playing 1.14.2 prerelease. World was generated in 1.14.1, but the lighting blocks and staircase the lighting bug is occurring in were placed and dug in 1.14.2 prerelease. Smooth lighting is on. No texture packs or other alterations to the game.

I am having an odd lighting bug that is not fixed by updating the blocks, or even placing torches on the darker areas. The lighting generated from the torches appears to "stick" to the blocks, as well as dark areas not updating when updated.
