I am a moderator on a small minecraft server community called "MossyNet." Recently, we have been noticing that if you unload a chunk, even by going into the nether for less than ten seconds and come back, the chunk's torches, glowstone, lanterns, etc. will often not emit light. The only way to get them to emit light again is to place another light source next to it, then remove the new light source. It resets the torch/glowstone not emitting light. We thought it was a problem with our server after the new update to 1.14.1, so we downloaded it, optimized the world, then reuploaded it. I thought the problem was solved because all of the chunks were now emitting light, even the ones we hadn't reset yet. I went to see if it worked in our nether hub too, but as soon as I came back into the overworld, it happened again. It was even worse than before.
