Fire causes massive FPS drops from 300+ FPS down to 1FPS. The game is unplayable.

There are a few ways that fire causes stutter, lag, FPS drops, ect:

The first method is to simply light grass on fire. The game will drop in FPS and stutter every time you light the grass on fire. If you light sandstone on fire, or any block that doesn't seem to be flammable the game does not stutter or lag.

Any trees that are on fire even if it is a single tree when walking around your FPS will drop all the way to 1FPS in some cases, and in others the game will stutter while you are in the area.

Fire has always been an issue, but in the case of 1.14 fire makes the game unplayable. In the screenshots below there was a pool of lava in a forest the caught only 2 - 3 trees on fire. As soon as I loaded in that chunk my game froze, and I was unable to move. This ruins the game since I have a high-end computer so who knows what it is like for other players on a laptop for example.

      Reproduce:

      1) Load up a fresh map and light grass on fire while walking.

      2) Light sandstone on fire and observe how it does not stutter.

      3) Light a tree on fire and observe the massive FPS drop.

      4) Locate a pool of that has caught trees on fire and observe how your game drops to 1FPS.
