If you want to copy part of a text from chat or a command block that is longer then what you can see when you hold SHIFT+Left or Right Arrow Key it will highlight what its meant to but will not scroll with it making it so that you are unable to see what you are copying. this applies to the chat and input line in command blocks while the output line you are unable to scroll at all
