died in the nether, after a lengthy respawn I saw that my torches didn't produce any light but seemingly only to chunk bounds. this bug allows for mobs to spawn right next to torches. I tryed re loging restarting the game I reloaded chunks, resource packs. reset my setting to minimum possible back to max, died ran far away and back all to no effect. after replacing the torches the light comeback
