The bug

Every minecart, moving or not, on a rail or not, is registering as an active sound from a distance of 80 blocks from the player position.

How to reproduce

Open the debug screen (hit F3)
Place several minecarts
→ Notice how the Sounds counter increases by one for each minecart placed
