Operating system windows 10, Ryzen 5 2600, GTX1080, with a dual monitor setup one dell S2716DG running G-SYNC and the game and the other DELL 3007WFP. I was also running the server on the computer.

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought that it should work properly and not run at 100% GPU utilization when running minecraft.
What actually happened was...:
When running VSYNC at 144hz it would just sort of run at 100% utilization. Capping it at a lower FPS made it actual go at like 10-15% utilization.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on Vsync on a 144hz display with no framerate cap
I have not tested this extensively so I don't know if it shows up on my second monitor ect
