If the player constructs a village in the vicinity of a pillager outpost, during raids the outpost will continously spawn Pillagers very quickly, who count as members of the current wave, making it extremely difficult to complete a raid wave successfully. There also is no apparent way of "deactivating" a pillager outpost.
