Entered an underground area that had been lit with various light sources, Including Sea Lanterns, Torches, Glowstone and the new 1.14 Lanterns, The whole area was very dark and mobs had spawned. 

When I placed and then removed new light sources (torches) the old lights updated and put out light again as normal.
