Diagonal Jumping up Blocks favors X-Axis

XMLWordPrintable

    • Confirmed
    • (Unassigned)

Jumping up from the corner of a block clearly favors the x-axis; that is even with a forward or backward input you will move more in the positive or negative x-direction rather than equally in the x and z directions as it was in previous versions.

      Reproduction Steps:

      1. Dig a block out with even terrain around it
      2. Move forward into a corner
      3. Jump while keeping the key pressed

If you reproduce this you should find that your jump clearly favors the x-axis, you move about a block in that direction, but barely move along the z-axis.
