Chunks are loading much slower after updating to 1.14. I optimized my world from 1.13.2, so I thought that might be part of the issue, but even when creating a new world the chunk generation is way way too slow, especially for this computer. I even upped the memory allocated to the game and that didn't even put a dent in, it might have actually made it slower.
