Currently, there is no option to disable the changing of a spectators scoreboard color. In a server environment, players who see that there is a staff member in spectator mode are less likely to cheat until the staff member leaves the game. There are ways to "hide" this effect slightly by setting their team color to white (if your default color for players is gray), however, there should be a better way.

A gamerule like "changeSpectatorColor" should be added to stop spectator names from being grayed out on the scoreboard. This option could be enabled by default to avoid any conflicts with current behavior.
