The Bug
When a dark oak log is stripped, the sides of the log are way too bright compared to the top texture and compared to all other stripped logs. All other stripped logs have proper brightness and look fine, but the dark oak simply looks very out of place due to this.
Edit:
I've now just noticed that on Bedrock Edition, the stripped dark oak log is darker and looks much better. I assume Java's should look like Bedrock's too but doesn't for some reason.
Maybe not. It looks like Bedrock had the darker texture even before the texture update.
