When the player is riding a horse and has to ride straight up a block, the normal thing for the horse to do is to automatically go up the block. The glitch is that the horse when the horse hits the block, the horse glitch into the ground. The glitch doesn't occur if the horse is going at a diagonal. This also seems to be the cause of the damage to the horse when dismounting.
