When ever I ride my horse and I get off, the horse always takes fall damage, i'm not on a cliff or anything i'm just on flat ground. Sometimes I die when I get off my horse and it says I hit the ground to hard and my horse dies too. This is really frustrating, especially when i'm traveling to far places and I die and I lose my stuff because I was too far away.
