I was riding a horse through a desert on a relatively flat area and suddenly died from "falling from a place too high". Both me and the horse died. Neither of us had fallen at that moment or recently. I had about 90% health at the time and was not taking hunger damage. I was wearing a leather helmet and leather pants. The horse had full health. (one bar + 2 hearts)
I had equipped the horse with the saddle at the same time as taming it (by pressing while trying to tame the horse until menu popped up), dismounted, slept, and returned to the horse before riding into the desert.
We were about 4 blocks in front of a desert cliff/steep area, the steep area was probably only 15 blocks high from where I was. I had been riding the horse for about 2 minutes.
The terrain basically looked like this, with "..." as air, H as me + horse, _ as flat ground, and | as 2-3 vertical blocks.
My computer is not very powerful; I have my video settings load 8 block radius. However, I was in an area that appeared to be fully loaded in.
Please let me know if I can assist in this report in any other way.
