Alright, I have this very large (155 gb world) from BETA 1.5. I start the server and configure it so I can join in Minecraft Beta 1.5_02 and everything works like it used too, now, I have tried soo many times to convert it to newer versions. So, the first try I made a backup and I go ahead and put in Beta 1.8 and start the server, nothing new, I put in vanilla minecraft 1.1 server jar, load and it starts to convert with "38143" as the conversion count. It is very slow as the world is huge. I have java args for the server with the max memory I have and it still eventually runs out of ram and crashes, and I am thinking that might be why it stops converting correctly, but I start it up again and it continues like normal untill the end, so I put the rest of vanilla server jars through all the way up to 1.10.2 (now 1.13.2) (1.10.2 is when I started trying to convert this) and it always fails at around 6-13k blocks out the new world gen kicks in, why??? ALL the region files have the coreresponding updated region file...

I then realized grass (grass that drops seeds) was at the spawn area, which in beta 1.5 was not a thing. So I am thinking, is it a problem with retrogenning, and if it is, how could I disable that???

What do I do? Am I doing the process wrong?!!??
