I was mining in survival mode, facing the top side of a block as I mined. Mid-mining, my cat teleports onto the block, blocking me from mining. When I backed up, I found the block remained partially cracked. The behavior of the block didn't change in any way, and the moment I tried to mine it, it just restarted cracking and broke like normal.
